Have you ever wished for an alternative to commercially raised animals? Come see how sustainable animal husbandry is better for the animal, environment and your health! Visit our working farm for a day, two or all week. Watch us do chores or actually help with them. Learn why raising animals on pasture is better for them, the environment and you. Teach your children where their food can truly come from. Instead of believing, as a city visitor of ours said when offered a dozen farm fresh eggs, “Thanks, but no, I don’t eat eggs from chickens, I only eat them from the store”; Or the animal sympathizer who stated that, “people should only get their meat from stores, and then no animals have to be harmed”. People who visit our farm always remark about how peaceful and beautiful it is. You can visit during lambing, hold a baby chick or help collect eggs. Weed and harvest in the garden and then watch the pig’s excitement when we throw the extra produce their way.

We offer space with your own kitchen, living room, bedroom with Queen size bed, trundle and full bath. A country breakfast is included, other meals are optional. After a tour of the farm, help with chores, spend time with the animals, visit our country store where our products, as well as work by local artisans are available. If you’re up for exercise, we have a walking trail around our property. Close by are canoe rentals, parks with beaches and hiking and biking trails. The Basilica of Holy Hill will give you exercise as well as gorgeous views. Or you may choose to relax in our swings, or sit in the rocking chairs on our porch.
